| I was using the black sack as a measurement of the waste in the bin. Just about everybody was using bins of one kind or another to protect their waste before wheelies were introduced. This became blatantly clear when they no longer wanted them. Wheelies are not magic though and they can blow over and spill their waste everywhere. Using the food waste bin makes a big difference. They may be still be on offer at the West London Waste Authority website if you are lucky. If you are still having so much trouble with your residual waste I think it would be a good idea checking that you are recycling all that you can eg did you realise that you can now recycle tetrapaks kerbside in both LBH and LBE which we weren't allowed to for many years? Also lots of small bags of waste may fill the bin like marbles in a glass jar ie with lots of wasted space in between them. Good luck. |
