| If you poll those 70,000 households in Hounslow, I'm certain that they will say that 140l is not big enough. It might be for a one or two person household, but not for 4 of us. I know we make a lot more trips to the tip in the car now, adding pollution to the atmosphere. I'm absolutely certain that we are not the only ones. People also regularly use neighbours' bins when they are on holiday. As for you saying that the majority of councils don't recycle plastic film, that doesn't make it right. Some it can't be recycled, but polythene can be, and we get a lot of things that come wrapped in it. |
