| It's all very well saying that the normal waste service has carried on but the normal waste service is not fit for purpose. The bins aren't big enough. We probably make an extra journey to the tip most months now because we can't fit everything in the bin. You aren't reducing the amount of rubbish as it's going to the tip anyway, and it adds pollution to the atmosphere. Possibly the biggest problem is that we have to put large amounts of recycleable polythene into the bins, as Hounslow won't recycle it. Without that, we may have enough space in the bins. You either need to start taking polythene in the recyclcing, or you need to give us bigger bins. |
