| Yes we do love our broad leaved street trees with their many benefits including absorbing carbon dioxide, sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide and releasing oxygen in our heavily polluted streets. We will continue fighting to keep them but they need maintaining and that is for Hounslow Highways with their contractors. When the leaves come down on our side of the fence we are happy to clear them up for converting to compost but the council don’t make it easy for us when we are only allowed 2 paid for garden waste bags for fortnightly collection. |
