| Chiswick's roads are cleared of leaves during Hounslow Highways' week 2 schedule. That's next week - on Thursday 29th for Chiswick Riverside and Friday 30th for Chiswick Homefields and Turnham Green: http://www.hounslowhighways.org/16-street-cleansing.html As others have said, if leaf fall is considered to be excessive (estimated by Hounslow Highways) reactive teams will respond within two business days: http://www.hounslowhighways.org/145-leaf-fall.html Some roads are swept more frequently and you can see the map of those hotspot roads here: http://www.hounslowhighways.org/storage/downloads/1444829125_Ward%20Maps%20Hot%20spots%202015%20all%20wards.pdf Several residents have reported that their regular street sweeping days have been missed and, as said in this discussion, some pavement edges have become very hard to detect increasing the risks of falling or tripping. If your road isn't swept when it should be, please do report it. If the problem persists, let one of us (your ward councillors know) so we can take it up. Our contact info is on the LBH website; the email format is: firstname.surname@hounslow.gov.uk |
