| It would be sensible if there was more of a give and take attitude and residents and the contractors worked together to get the leaves bagged up and away. I do hope that it isn't the belief that there will be fewer if they are left for a while. Many people find their gardens inundated with leaves from the street trees - and why should they buy into a garden waste service just for those? If they try and help by filling a bag and leave it out for collection it will most probably just stay there and/or be treated as fly-tipping. When the garden waste collection was free there was more cooperation. As Iris says re excessive leaf fall: REPORT IT to Hounslow Highways. |
