Yes that's the one Philippa. I was in constant touch with Matthew Williamson before he left the council and he worked with Hounslow Highways to make sure that all businesses in CHR and TGT had trade waste licences ( a lot of them didn't and were illegally throwing everything out on the pavements ) HH did an amazing job and got it all cleared up including the one in Thornton Avenue which was illegally parked on a public highway. It was removed and also all the ones in the passageway next to the station, which had been a huge mess for many years. However another bin arrived recently so it's all started again. Yesterday it was taken away but replaced with a shiney new one for recycling which was locked! So now we can look forward to even more being dumped next to it! The other permanently awful mess is at the junction of Fishers Lane and Belmont Road. Overflowing bins, furniture and mattresses. |
