Maybe we should follow Canada with regards to public drinking of alcohol In Canada, the possession of open containers of alcohol in public is generally a violation of provincial acts and municipal by-laws. Open liquor is not permitted except in private residences or on licensed premises. Open liquor is also illegal in national and provincial parks, though this prohibition may not be widely enforced on camp-sites. Has anyone ever ask a person to leave a site due to their behaviour only to find out they have drunk to much? Try it sometime, apart from the abuse and threats to break my legs it's a doddle until they drag there partner and children into the argument about the job's worth who is trying to spoil their day, if the confrontation goes on to long another well meaning member of the public steps in and threatens the person with physical violence, now we are in the 999 area and a complete waste of there time. All for a drink, is it really worth it? |
