The arguments of Will and others are confused. Will has shown a picture of a very long stretch limo. There is a difference between length and width :) Chris's car fits into a standard bay lengthwise. It doesnt in terms of width, If it was excessively long Will would have a point. For Will's point to be valid (genuinely not legally) the width of the vehicle would have to be such as to obstruct or potentially obstruct other vehicles driving along the road. From the pictures it is not possible to be certain about this, but it appears probably not (also what Chris says). For what it's worth, a modern Mercedes engine, even diesel, is likely much less polluting than an "old jaguar", although obviously that depends which one and how old! Chris should appeal against this. |
