I agree with this writer. For more than three years I battled to get a tree trimmed that was plantedoutside my house (and three others)by Hounslow Council that had been tapping on my bedroom window for two of those years as well as annually filling gutterings & downpipes back and front with leaves and regularly dropping dead branches on parked cars. Why is it that Councils are only interested in lopping other people's trees/hedges? What is the matter with these miserable, in need-of-a-life residents? Is the complainant 8'tall and 5' wide? I am 5'7 and can pass it with loads of space to spare, and unless you weigh 20 stone and are pushing a Land Rover you can pass along the pavement with no problems. He or she should try walking round Chiswick and getting some of the really offensive trees and shrubs, especially rose bushes, cut back. OR alternatively, GET A LIFE! Hands off our teapot! |
