| Fraser, I try and be agnostic on politics especially when it comes to economic policies especially given the diminishing differences between the parties in this area. However from all I have seen in the last year I do not think the Tory party has done any better a job than Brown & Darling in spelling out the root causes of the problems and menu of possible solutions to be considered whether in parliamentary debate or media comments. The few noises made belatedly at their last Party Conference are in direct contrast to Vince Cable's more succinct warnings and comments for many prior months. Inevitably this led to the priceless question by a recent radio interviewer of George Osborne as to why he did not know as much as Cable when it came to economics! |
