Even if that's true, they're certainly not the only ones who are subsidised by the taxpayer. Take the bankers, for example: having enjoyed their profits and socialised their losses, they're now back to awarding themselves obscene bonuses again. Can't see the Tories taking action against them. But yes, I'm sure they'll pursue a housing policy that uproots and destroys more working class communities. After all, they have both an ideological and an electoral reason for doing so. |
