| Agree with Emma, my situation is the same (upper maisonette, and joint buildings insurance with the other freeholder, also with Hiscox). They are not the cheapest insurer, but have the flexibility to deal with situations like this where other insurers don't, I had similar problems when trying to sort out buildings insurance last year. |
