I have had several conversations with a very helpful chap at LBH on a similar subject. 2 parking bays were removed on our street & replaced with a "drop driveway" & off street parking space for the resident. As far as I could see this was not in line with LBH's policy of only allowing a drop driveway if there was no net loss of street parking. However ... it seems that there are several type of bays in LBH! The bay that was removed was a "large single" not a double, which meant that although two cars could usually get on there it was not technically a double bay & therefore only one parking space had been lost - hmm!
