In recent weeks I have been in Hammersmith, Kew, Putney and parts of Ealing.  It occurs to me that Chiswick has the narrowest parking bays of all.   We are an affluent area and many people have larger cars such as BMW's and Mercedes not to mention the 4 wheel drive brigade.  In all the above mentioned places such cars can easily park within the confines of the white lines but in Chiswick it is well nigh impossible without scraping wheel rims on the kerb risking damage to the tyres and the possibility of a blow out at speed. Please would someone from each street in Chiswick measure the width from kerb to outer edge of white line and report back.  I will do the same outside our area and we can compare. Is this a perverse discrimination against larger cars?
