As you're in your usual helpful mode - and although it is out of your province, can you explain the re-phasing of the RH turn from Hammersmith Bridge back on to the A4 just by the Oxford & Cambridge pub? It is now geared so that cars turning right there are stopped by the pedestrian lights, which then change in sequence with the traffic coming east off Hammersmith Boradway. Result - if more than one or two cars waiting, the remainder who think they have passed a green light find themselves up against the flow from the Boradway. Seems an invitation to an accident - the old phasing worked perfectly. If it ain't bust .... |
