“ they could have taken a yearly bonus but never did,” Yes most sensible directors forfeited bonuses when they were 5 or 6 years from retirement and elected instead to draw inflated salaries for the last 3 years of their employment so that trey could enjoy much bigger final salary pensions. They were the cause of the collapse of Final Salary Pension schemes running into huge deficits or being frozen and the lack of any action taken by the Labour Governments of Blair and Brown. |
