| Vindictive, in what way? The word implies a desire for revenge. Are you suggesting that the government has deliberately penalised pensioners, because as a class they tend to vote Tory? The withdrawal of WFP was a crass and insensitive error, but it stretches the imagination to call it vindictive. But then gross exaggeration of the errors of the current government and its motives seems to have become common currency on the forum. |
