My intention for starting this thread was not to raise an argument but to get to the bottom of who (and how) were behind the allegedly fake illegal street signs being put up, Google maps and bus stop strips changed without, it would seem, a by your leave in an area that does not officially exist. If the correct channels are being followed and it is simply a case of guns being jumped as someone has suggested, OK, communicate this! Plenty of time has passed for someone to come forward and explain so I can only conclude they won't. That's just rude. Why, I can not be certain but if these people want a name change that's fine by me but what is far from fine is the lack of transparency and seemly disregard for due process. |
