Cllr Hearn,

I am not sure why you think that being unelected means that I am not able to read, analyse data, ask questions and end up knowing than more than you do on this subject.

Your comparison with a hospital car park and airports with public roads is just evidence of your ignorance. Regulation of  public and private facilities and volume of traffic are totally different in both cases.

You still didn’t answer the questions when you flip-flopped about ANPR being the answer to everything.

Cllr Hearn claims he never attacked the signage on SOTG but he did say "Yes. But what does that mean?” So he seems to be saying that he isn’t attacking the signage but he doesn’t know what it means.  The method used to enforce the  signage doesn’t change its meaning.

Cllr Hearn says "officers egged on by people like Mr Robinson who had proposed the two ambitious ANPR schemes as an integral part of the South Chiswick Schemes."

Cllr Hearn is a liar.  There is no other way of putting it.

The irony is that the FOIs that his tinfoil hat brigade of mates show Cllr Hearn’s statements to be untrue.  As an example, an email to Mark Frost setting out concerns with the ANPR measures proposed.  It was Cllr Hearn who was gung ho because he thought ANPR allowed him to have his cake and eat it.

Cllr Hearn's claim that somehow I "had proposed the two ambitious ANPR schemes" is a lie, simple as that.

As for " A quick trip to Screwfix in Brentford from Chiswick Village - don't make me laugh.”

Putting aside that B&Q is closer, that is a distance of 1.9 miles currently showing a journey time of 6 minutes. If you are complaining about people not being able to go via Kew Bridge Rd then they couldn’t come back to Stile Hall Gardens or Wellesley Rd using that route anyway because of no right turn from the S Circular.  Why have you a problem with people using the same roads in both directions? Have a good laugh.

Your "cars above all" view of the world is perfectly illustrated that you think maybe (or maybe not) saving a minute driving less than 2 miles to buy a rawl plug is more important than a quiet and safer street for everyone, all the time.
