Sam,

Can you explain why in your response to the 2019 consultation for the Kew Bridge section of C9, including Wellesley Rd and Stile Hall Gardens, your response requested installation of a bus gate of the type that you mention that had been rejected previously in 2017?  Did you forget?

You probably haven't driven down Stile Hall Gardens recently now that it has been closed to rat-runners but if you did go there, you would see that the junction with the S Circular has been rebuilt so there is now just one lane eastbound.

Can you explain how you propose to avoid a head-on collision between vehicles entering and existing the road? 

Are you proposing ripping-out the newly extended pavement and turning it back to roadway?  Or perhaps install an additional set of traffic lights on the S Circular just to let cars out of SHG?

Why don't you write to TfL and ask where this would fit on their priorities.  You can make the case that it would save a small number of people a few minutes on some car journeys.

Of course, the safety issues of additional cars crossing the bike lane there doesn't appear to have occurred to you. Your condescending dismissal of residents who actually like the street without traffic has been doing the rounds as well.  Cars uber alles - that's the Hearn way.

All the rest is you trying to do a desperate flipflop for your previous claims that ANPR should be everywhere.
