| Most of you will not remember me.....owner of Fabouche in Turnham Green Terrace. I would have stayed in Chiswick if I had felt welcome but it did not work out. The crazy rates and neglect of sanitation in the area was an increasing problem. So I went off to France. Brexit is a tragedy. And a victory for the enemies of Europe. I fear for UK and I wonder what will become of dear old London Life here for me is an endless circle of paperwork. But I have land and garden and plenty of space in general. I wonder about so many things.Will Brits be able to leave UK and travel freely? Will UK become its own detention centre. Ironic is it not to not want unwanted guests and, at the same time escape could become difficult. And yes I still work! But this spring we become a cookery experience for wealthy Americans and it is all organised and booked. I had thought of coming over for a few days in May. Just to eat at Indian Wing and Royal China but I am divorced from London and find it a little unpleasant. |
