| An excellent article Alastair but what a very sad mess. Tend to agree with Michael, but none of this needed to have happened had the EU negotiated properly with David Cameron. I voted to leave purely because I did not want to be a part of a giant Federalised Europe - governed by faceless unknowns in Brussels but governed by our own British Parliament whilst retaining very close links with the rest of Europe on trade, and closely involved with all those countries against terrorism and crime. Let's face, it no one wants to grasp this very nasty nettle - they just haven't got the courage and vision to do it so on we stagger with Mrs May into what ....??? |
