VIv,if you are not concerned at what is happening in this country then I am afraid you have either taken leave of your senses or had few in the first place.

Firstly, the Tory conference was perhaps the most xenophobic and nationalilstic conference by a governing party in living memory.

Secondly, teh zealots who are leading us out of the EU have no plan and no understanding of modern business. REports from some of the fringe events at the conference were staggering: DAniel Hannan rubbishing the single market and talking up trade with Kenya. For reference, and those that like facts, Kenya's current GDP is around $65 billion, Spain's economy alone is over 20 times larger. Just what we are going to sell to Kenya or indeed import from these is of course not specified.

THere are lots of wealthy countries the UK can and does trade with, strangely enough a large proportion are conveniently located just next door.

You then had David Davis talking about the EMpire and how many countries we used to rule.

It is unbelievable what is happening, and the tone of the debate from the Mail and Telegraph gets even more extreme. It is truly scary, if I was a non-UK citizen here I would be packing my bags, and I know a few who are already doing that.
