After going to great deal of time and trouble with relatively little expense taking climate change, air quality and noise pollution into consideration and with an airport running on renewable energy and the runways surrounded on three sides by the sea for safety and cargo reasons it was then kicked into the long grass. An expensive commission taking 2 years turned out to be biased and deeply flawed. Attempts being made to water down the legally binding limits to somehow make it ok but not succeeding. Back into the long grass because of everything that was already known in the first place. |
