Hang about!!!! Aren't W4 Daily Mail readers meant to be reeling from the recent news that their beloved bacon sarnies are about to kill them? And their glorious sausage sarnies in fresh white bread dripping with butter are miles along the road to a stroke or at the very least a coronary seizure??? Yet here you all are watering at the mouth and contemplating local suicide in a carnival of saturated fat sprinkled with plenty of blood-pressurizing deadly salt... Just sayin' Best fish and chip I've had this year were in Detroit (not as well known as Bradford for mastering the art of fried fish). Nevertheless they did a crisp and beautifully cooked thin batter around a massive portion of not cod or haddock but halibut!... 'Twas sensational! I've actually had fried cod and chips in Bradford. Bloody good too. A couple of years back I had cod and chips at the famous chippy in Aldburgh. Total disaster! I gave them to the seagulls - and even they weren't particularly impressed.... |
