Lots of opinions, yes :-) Consider this; people (generally) don't want the hassle of moving at Christmas (which we seem to be hurtling towards at great speed) so that takes your 'couple of months' towards late January. Then there's the idea that (rather romantically) houses sell better in the spring (daffodils/fresh baked bread etc.) and so on. If it were me, I wouldn't put it off. 'Buy the worst house in the best street' I think the saying goes? |
