Stephen G, if the co-pilot collapses the cabin crew have a code to enter the cockpit. To prevent the possibility of terrorists "obtaining" the code, if the pilot thinks there is a potential hijack he has to positively flick the switch to completely lock the door, thereby putting the cockpit into bolt down. Not the normal action of a sane lone copilot. |
