| "Fracking is a no go and the whole shale oil scene is just a hype." Seriously? Really? This would be the industry that has virtually single handedly dragged the US out of recession, the industry that has slashed US crude oil imports from 50% to 20% in the last five years, the industry that has caused such a glut of crude oil in the states that they are now considering overturning a 40 year ban on exporting crude oil? Yes they're going to struggle against oil prices of US$ 60 per bbl or sub, but I think you underestimate the political will in the US to not be as beholden to Middle East oil as they have been historically. |
