| Fracking is a no go and the whole shale oil scene is just a hype. Markets will bounce and $20 oil will not happen. Look back when oil spiked up to £150, everyone was callin $200 oil and we quickly traded back down to $80. Like any commodity it is based on supply and demand and right now we are at a point where production is high and the demand is not quite about but refineries were running at record capacity due to a low cost base. You have to remember as well that other than just crude most of this product gets refined into gasoil, diesel, jet fuel etc basically your middle of the barrel products. Do we still have some room the downside? certainly but the picture can quickly change, if we see some issues where refinery production is cut off and we do not find as much product coming into the market then the over production will quickly find a home. |
