So apart from the pump what about natural gas. I am no expert but on looking at the price of natural gas is about 40% less from April to November. Does it cost more to stockpile in quantity and push the price up. We have all in the past been given the words that energy CO's have brought at a cheaper price and stockpiled to benefit the consumer but then when it is all forgotten 6 months later the price of our energy goes up. What happened to that cheaper energy they stockpiled. Are we being ripped off which many will most likely say yes. Surely taking natural gas as being nearly 50% more expensive on the markets in the months December to March i would have thought stockpiling at the cheaper rate would benefit us. They will tell you they do stockpile at the cheaper rate but all gets lost months down the line. Or does stockpiling costs go up and down in Europe or is it a central Europe thing where localized supplies make it harder to transport. Maybe someone can explain to me as i have no great knowledge on this how natural gas is 50% cheaper according to the markets over 8 months of the year, year on year but we see no change other than energy prices for the consumer going up and up . |
