| I have more or less given up on my slow cooker and gone back to the cast iron casserole dish and oven. I found that the slow cooker seems to create a lot of condensation which then waters down the liquid and I definitely prefer the finished flavour from the oven. Added bonus - nice warm kitchen to come back to! |
