| To answer your query, Keith, I keep my green recycling box and the blue bag for paper behind a sofa adjacent to the kitchen. I have two plastic dustbins in a corner of the back garden in which I keep the plastics bag and the week's black sack for landfill waste, and nearby I keep the food waste bin and garden waste bag. The contents of the two dustbins and all the other containers are indeed carried through the house individually on Tuesday evenings. This is not acceptable with a wheelie bin, which would have to be wheeled along the floor, with wet and/or dirty wheels. Some people have cabinets in their front gardens for the existing containers and bags, but these are generally not tall enough to contain a wheelie bin. |
