Mis-en-place is the key. Prep the ingredients, you can do this in bulk (that's the only chore) and then it's simply a matter of assembling them. Salmon en croute with new potatoes and mange-tout (20 minutes). A full Chinese banquet (maybe an hour) and a lovely Carbonade Flamande (twenty minute prep time tops) |
