"Richard, I see that you’re still trying to belittle the relevance of terror drill exercises being carried out by crisis management company, Visor Consultants" Yes, because such crisis management desk-based exercises have been held for years. I took part in one myself in the mid-1990s. Peter Power has explained in depth how and why he chose the scenario, partly based on that used in the Panorama programme. Incidentally, Power was an invited panel member on that programme and wasn't briefed in advance on the scenario the BBC had designed. "the occupants of a controlled demolition van parked alongside a bombed bus were not even suspects." Why should they be? They do (or did) "demolition in areas where minimum disruption and minimum noise requirements are paramount". Not really their type of scene is it? "you make very little comment on the evidence or the lies told by the authorities (the detail), making it very clear that you have an agenda, with the truth being of little importance." There you go again, fantasising. You assume that just because I haven't commented here on something, it is "very clear" that I think that truth is of little importance. Just proves my point. Re Q6: "This must surely have happened" - yet another naive unjustified assumption. There were a number of false reports that morning, as is to be expected after a huge traumatic event, with the media scrambling for news. |
