Four men have been charged with terrorism offences, including swearing an oath to Islamic State, conducting hostile reconaissance on a west London police station and taking possession of a gun and ammunition, police say. The men were arrested during counter-terrorism raids in London over the last fortnight. Those charged are medical student Tarik Hassane, 21, Suhaib Majeed, 20, Nyall Hamlett, 24, and Momen Motasim, 21. Police said on Friday the four had been charged with alleged offences between 8 July 2014 and 7 October 2014, including intent to commit acts of terrorism, or assist others to commit such acts. http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2014/oct/17/four-men-charged-terror-arrests-london |
