| We took two boy kittens from the same litter, tabbies, one shorthaired and the other longhaired. For the first year or so they were inseperable, slept together in the same basket, washed each other and were best mates, then..........shorthaired elevated himself to 'BOSS'. Longhaired then had to do what shorthaired told him. He was only allowed in basket when 'BOSS' said so. BOSS spent his days climbing trees and nicking bird's eggs and bringing home live birds and frogs. We had a tricky time when BOSS brought home a baby blackbird and carried into the house closely followed by mother blackbird making a hell of a noise, which actually scared BOSS and he ran away and mum and baby were reunited! So, to sum things up, two kittens from the same litter can be great fun, but they will not necessarily get on - bit like kids really! |
