Labour received 6,866 less votes than in 2010, but gained a 0.8% share of the votes on a turnout reduced from 46,125 in 2010 to 28,472. Between 2005 and 2010 there was a 6.8% swing against Labour, so they are still 6% below where they were in 2005. Not exactly a convincing endorsement of Milibean Minor, was it ? |
