I agree with you on trains but not so much on aircraft when we know that if we have missed the crew's swift collection that the cleaners come on and whizz down the aisle with their black bags collecting waste before the next load of people get on. Although if you are a regular on a particular train you will know where the waste bins are and if not you may not. I remember them as being very small considering the amount of packaging most things have nowadays. I'm surprised that there aren't better/neater/more compact systems for the number of aluminium drinks cans the contents of which must be drunk on trains etc. I wonder what they do on Japanese trains? We were taught to take our rubbish home if there wasn't a bin. |
