| He/she has nule right to be in the park or in any other public place with unleashed and unmuzzled dogs he/she obviously cannot control. He/She i guarantee has never been in that position before. And never even thought something like that could or would happen. But they do now. I would think it may be very possible that they have taken the dogs back to the rescue centre 99% of greyhounds come from. Greyhounds would never chase or kill a small child. Greyhounds will in some situations chase something small and moving. But so do many dogs. Do we say that all cats must be kept under control and muzzled outside to stop them killing birds. Its in a way the same thing. Just that greyhounds are not your day to day pet.And that's not for the wrong reasons As to them walking away from the cat. I am not sure what they should or could have done. If it was my dogs i would be in shock, and not knowing on the spot what to do. I think some people are branding the dogs as a breed the wrong way,and should be treated as any other dog breed, unless on the dangerous dogs list. And maybe just maybe some people are just a little on the sharp side as a cat lover. But i think the owner/owners of the dogs will be very upset |
