| I walk in Southfield Rec twice a day most days and have never seen anyone with two greyhounds - although several with just one, normally docile-looking creatures, so would be surprised if it's a regular. A few other dogs are walked there that I try to avoid but am surprised at this incident. Having said that, most dogs will chase a cat if it runs, but not that many I would think would actually kill one, especially if it turned on them and hissed. I have only ever seen one cat in Southfield Rec, generally they try and avoid big open spaces where dogs are as they know they are vulnerable. If it is a regular frequenter of the park I am amazed the same dogs haven't got squirrels, there are a lot of them in the park, maybe the squirrels are just too quick and can climb faster.. |
