| Juliet in August I wrote to Andy Smith1 at Hounslow asking that the fencing be retained until this matter had been resolved. As I never had a reply I doubt that the fencing was retained but just in case, can we have our fencing back? Fund raising for individual bits of play equipment may be the way to go but John Todd did warn us when we all met in the Park that items could be prohibitively expensive - I remember that 4 swings in Homefield Park cost £55,000! They are highly engineered but still, how that figure was arrived at, heaven only knows. I feel that if we do some fund raising it will show that we are serious about our park being re-instated. |
