| We have never not sent 'real' cards! Also there are some where we exchange real letters on paper too, mostly they consist of a catch-up of what the past year has brought. One friend of mine - of many, many years standing says he looks forward to hearing the thud of a thicker envelope, knowing it will be a good read, that doesn't mean we don't exchange e-mails occasionally throughout the year either. Many people live quite a way outside London so we don't see them very often and it is nice to know how they are especially as we are all now getting much older. |
