Took a Forest from Hammersmith to Chiswick.

Along the way stopped to talk to one of the Hounslow Highway guys we've been friendly with for years. Just outside Chateau. As we were talking, for about 5-10 minutes, I heard/felt the bike do something though what I wasn't sure what. Until I went to continue. The app said I was mid-ride, the bike went dark. Wouldn't move. I tried putting it off the cycle lane at a cycle rack but couldn't shut down the ride meaning I'd continue to be charged indefinitely. I had to push the bike to Duke's Ave and shut it down there.

Why?

Why make it so stupidly difficult to use your product?

Especially when your product fails the customer?

Increasingly I get the feeling Forest is akin to some bored kids idling about until one of them says, "hey, let's put on a show."
