Hi David,

My suggestion of having places marked on residential roads was to try and ensure this was where bikes ended up getting parked, rather than on pavements of residential roads. But without consequences arising if you don't do it, we get the situation we have, as you rightly point out.

You've probably hit the nail on the head, how do you ensure people leave the bikes in the correct places? I'd asked a similar question in another thread ... who ensures the bike companies enforce the parking restrictions and their terms and condtions?

If only Hounslow had tried following Wandsworth's example, rather than shrugging their shoulders and giving Lime, as you said, 'a free pass', and subsequently burning the pass and appointing different, less reliable 'suppliers'.
