| The stop sign is an interesting idea but the flaw may be that the people who plough on through the roundabout without properly checking are the same people who will ignore a sign. If it was technically possible to have traffic lights that respond in this way that might work. However, the habit of some pedestrians to walk on the road under the bridge has persisted and they might cause the lights to change leading to further queueing on South Parade. |
