It is clearly signed as a roundabout followed by no right or left turn except local buses & cycles Mark Evans wrote: "In my experience the principal risk is that a lot of drivers don't know that people turning right into Fishers Lane, including cyclists, have priority." If that is the case, then they should get an eye test and take a driving refresher course. Peter Evans: "Remove the redundant mini roundabout and replace it with a ‘give way’ T-junction, and change the give way markings on the south side to reflect the ‘new’ arrangements in Fisher Lane." It's not redundant as local buses & cycles are still exiting Fishers Lane. Peter Ewans: "In my cycling days, roundabouts were regarded as the most dangerous form of road junction." There are mini roundabouts near Sainsbury's car park, Chiswick Park tube station, the Duke Pub, Bedford Corner and The Avenue/Bath Road/TGT intersection. Surely they are just as dangerous as FL/SP. For avoidance of doubt, this is how it works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvARKEv6jQE&ab_channel=ConquerDriving |
