| No I said immigration and you inserted the word "illegal". I don't think that the public does have a good understanding of the benefits of immigration and that is why the right wing press always reports in outraged terms on total immigration figures when they are released. I also don't think there is a good understanding of "illegal immigration." Quite a high number of people think that asylum seekers are synonymous with illegal immigrants but that is not the case no matter how much they might wish it to be so. |
