| Not Marxist. But back to Labour as usual. Doing what they do. Tax and spend. Whatever one thinks of the rights and wrongs of private education, no other OECD country applies VAT to school fees. Education is a charitable endeavour, and many people send their children to private schools for a wide range of reasons. I only hope it will not cause irreversible damage to the cause of good education and institutions. |
