Humpty, there are times when you seem to live in a similar fantasy world to Michael Brown. Parents who send their children to private schools are saving the state money as it does not have to fund their children at state schools. They have still had to pay exactly the same amount of taxes as if they did make use of state schools, so by paying private school fees they are actually giving to the state already by reducing the pupil numbers enrolled in the state system. That is the wealth distribution threatened by Labour's spiteful attack on the private sector. |
